The ZipShade® 100 slim is the ideal exterior system for new construction projects. The Slim is specially designed and engineered for recessed installation. The slender, concealed profile ensures that the ZipShade® is in perfect harmony with the architecture of your building. In new construction projects, the side channels and headbox are sent to the job site to be installed directly into the framing. Once all exterior work is completed, the shade is easily installed into the system.

ZIPSHADE® 100 SLIM
Screen Headbox
The ZipShade® 100 Slim headbox is specially constructed to ease installation by allowing the roller tube to be installed via the underside of the headbox. The headbox is made of two aluminum profiles and can be installed during the construction phase for complete concealment.
Fabric Roll
The fabric roller tube is made of steel and has a unique sunken fabric groove to limit the impression of the fabric loop. This strongly reduces the horizontal line indentation in the fabric. The commercial grade construction of the roller tube insures shades will not deflect.
Bottom Bar
The bottom bar, made of extruded aluminum, is solid and is made heavier with a round bar of galvanized steel. The ZipShade® 100 Slim bottom bar completely conceals inside the headbox when the shade is in the "up" position.
Side Channel
The side channel is made of extruded aluminum and houses the co-extruded inner rail that guides the fabric. ZipShade® 100 Slim side channels can be recessed during the construction stage. The side channel also has an extra channel to conceal the cable.
