ZIPSHADE® 150

The ZipShade® 150 is one of the most durable and strongest exterior systems on the market. The patented zipper technology ensures the fabric remains in the side channels and does not wrinkle, even in inclement weather. This system is operational in winds up to 50 MPH when freestanding and 80 MPH when installed against a building. Choose to operate the motorized ZipShade® 150 with a remote or wall switch. For full automation, sun sensors and wind sensors can also be incorporated. The ZipShade® 150 is ideal for large windows and openings.

Screen Headbox

The ZipShade® 150 headbox is constructed of two pieces of extruded aluminum that are hinged together to create an enclosed box. Each end has a console the supports the roller tube.

Fabric Roll

The fabric roller tube is made of steel and has a unique sunken fabric groove to limit the impression of the fabric loop. This strongly reduces the horizontal line indentation in the fabric. The commercial grade construction of the roller tube insures shades will not deflect.

Bottom Bar

The bottom bar, made of extruded aluminum, is solid and is made heavier with a round bar of galvanized steel. For a perfect connection with the sill, the bottom bar has a plastic darkening strip.

Side Channel

The side channel is made of extruded aluminum and houses the co-extruded inner rail that guides the fabric. The side channel also has an extra channel to conceal the cable.
